Art and Craft
Art and craft is all about recipes and recycled designs. Everything we grow will be used, from plum butter to herbal teas. All designs are hand made and sourced from left over materials. This is a great way of recycling, education and innovation.
Sloe berries can be cooked into jams and jellies or making sloe gin. The berries are high in vitamin C a good tonic for stomach and bladder.

Sloe gin 450g of berries, 250g caster sugar and 700ml good Gin.

I reused milk bottles. Shake bottles once a week and store in cool cupboard for few month.

Lavender is my absolute favourite, which I harvest every year in late summer.

It is quite time consuming to take the soft purple buds of the the tall sprig, but its definitely worth it.

I mix my lavender with rice. The rice will keep the lavender scent for longer.

I started making little lavender bags for the children.

The lovely scent can be placed anywhere in the house. The kids like to use it as a calming toy, as the rice can make a crunchy noise.

Lavender will look nice almost everywhere. It is also easy to use in oils or any other homemade cosmetic products.
Drying
For 5 jars: 2kg plums, 400gr sugar, 3tsp cinnamon, 1tsp all spice Cook for 2-3 hours before filling into sterilised jars.

A great way to use left over apples. I always add some cinnamon.

This is a great aperitive after a big meal. Something for the colder days.

I absolutely love cinnamon and Swedish cinnamon rolls bring me back to my childhood.

I am still on the learning curve with the sourdough. Baking bread is a daily routine for me, but I use dried yeast at the moment.

A great way to recycle an old chair, I got for free. I used an old blackout curtain to cover the cushions.
